Sharyn L. Church
Sharyn L. Church is a strategic advisor to philanthropy with expertise at the intersection of nonprofit, philanthropy, government and the community sectors. Sharyn served as Managing Director for the national philanthropic services firm Arabella Advisors, where she opened the Southern California Market and led the Families and Individuals practice for the West Region. Sharyn also launched and led Arabella’s Racial Wealth Gap practice. She is a seasoned executive in the social sector with more than 20 years of experience leading nonprofits and businesses in implementing policies, programs, and partnerships to improve educational, economic, social and health outcomes for communities of color. Throughout her career, Sharyn has led the successful launch and growth of multiple Los Angeles and California nonprofits including Inner-City Arts and Children Now, where she led a regional grassroots movement advocacy network of over 3,000 members, achieving legislative influence that protects the rights of children. Sharyn earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of Southern California. She also completed the executive education program at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
